Mindful Eating Experience & A Courgette Pumpkin Oats Recipe - Pocket Sport

When we slow down and implement mindfulness into the simple pleasures of life, we can indulge and feel happiness in the details of life that might have been overlooked when we're moving too fast.

Mindful living is a way of life that can transform even the most mundane day-to-day activities. By bringing more awareness, it allows us to be still, observe and appreciate every intricacy. With more gratitude, we begin to feel the joy that elevates our vibration to attract the love that we are.

A fun way to begin applying this to your everyday life is, to create a mindful cooking experience. Even if you don’t like to cook, you can shift your perspective to embrace feeding your body as a nourishing ritual and an act of self-love.

We've teamed up with Holistic Wellbeing Coach, self-love advocate and wellness enthusiast Andrea Ochoa to take us through a new way to experience cooking and eating an easy, delicious, and healthy meal. Watch our IGTV video here to follow along as Andrea cooks the following Courgette Pumpkin Oats recipe and takes us through a breathing practice before and during the cooking experience, as well as before eating to transform the way you look at the moment and your gratitude for the food in front of you.

The full experience with Andrea is 45 minutes so don't come starving, flustered, and rushing to put food in your mouth. Take this moment to slow down. You can always re-create this experience for yourself or take the practices that resonate with you and adapt them to your everyday life. Have fun discovering what your personal recipe of self-love is.
