Slow Sunday's - 6 yoga poses to start off your week

Sundays are made for slow mornings right? Well, with Lucrezia Worthington's Slow Sunday Yin, our mornings can still be calm and relaxed, while still getting our blood flowing.

 1. Bananasana

A side body stretch that stimulates the heart and lung meridian lines.

2. Thread the Needle pose

To help open up the shoulders while stretching the spine.

3. Puppy Pose/melting heart

A stretch to open your shoulders and upper back while stimulating the meridian lines of the bladder, stomach, spleen, abdomen, heart, and lungs.

4. Sphinx pose

Strengthen your shoulders and lower back.

5. Sleeping swan

Stretch your hip flexors and psoas and stimulate the spleen, gallbladder, liver, stomach and urinary bladder meridians.

6. Last but not least The Simple Twist

This is good for digestion and ringing out toxins.
